POLIS webinar explores the ins and outs of data sharing for urban mobility

Webinar on Data Sharing Fundamentals
12 December 2022 - 16:00-17:30 (CET)

POLIS webinar explores the ins and outs of data sharing for urban mobility.

To regulate private-sector operated shared mobility services and evolve towards more evidence-based decision-making in this field, data sharing has become instrumental. To date however, the potential of the huge amount of data generated by these services to inform policy, is largely untapped.

Inside Local and Regional administrations and authorities, decisions on mobility data sharing are directly and indirectly affected by several officials. Few know a lot, and many know a little. Still, they must often work together and make decisions on this matter.

POLIS members are coming together to help. Whether you know a lot or a little, this webinar will help you catch up with what’s up.

We hear from members including:

  • MobilityData
  • Open Mobility Foundation
  • Amsterdam

and others!

We’ll share fundamental information about what are data specifications, why are they important, and which ones are the most useful and of course GDPR-compliant. We’ll introduce you to a new very helpful tool – the CDS-M data sharing protocol developed by Amsterdam in cooperation with other Dutch cities.

Please note: Zoom link will be sent to registered participants.
